FAQ

Will the boots look exaclty like the photos?

Unlike synthetic materials, genuine leather is a natural material that varies from batch to batch.  With this being said, the colour of the leathers may not resemble the photos 100%, since every cowhide is different.

Can you ship to PO Box address?

Only in Canada.  We cannot ship to PO Box addresses in the USA.

Do Boulet Boots fit the same as other companies?

Boulet Boots fit about 1/2 a size bigger than other companies. For example, if you normally wear a size 10 in other brands, you should consider taking a size 9.5 in Boulet.

Everyone’s feet are made different, so there can be exceptions but typically this is the rule of thumb for Boulet Boots.

How should I care for my boots? What products should I use on my boots?

We suggest wiping your boots with a non-abrassive cloth (with a little bit of water if necessairy) to get rid of any dirt. Do not dry them directly or too close to/on a hot surface. Do not put them in direct sunlight to dry.

Your boots have already been treated. We would recommend that after you have worn them for a few weeks, or several days to do the following (always try the product on a small inconspicuous spot on the boot, before applying all over):

You can treat them with a neutral boot cream or wax to prevent the leather from drying over time, and keep them looking nice.

If you are going to wear them in a lot of wet conditions, you could use something like beeswax.

Mink oil is very effective as well, when worn in wet or humid environments, but be careful because it can darken the leather and give it a wet look that could remain greasy and sticky.

If I am a man looking to buy a pair of women’s Boulet Boots for myself because I may need a smaller size, what size should I take? If I am a woman looking to buy a pair of men’s Boulet Boots for myself because I may have a wider foot, what size should I take?

If you are a man looking to buy a women’s boot, then you need to consider taking a 1.5 size bigger than what you would normally wear in a men’s Boulet Boot. For example, if you wear a size 7 in a men’s Boulet Boot, then you would need to consider taking a size 8.5 C in a women’s Boulet Boot.

If you are a women looking to buy a men’s boot, then you need to consider taking a 1.5 size smaller than what you would normally wear in a women’s Boulet Boot. For example, if you wear a size 8 in a women’s Boulet Boot, then you would need to consider taking a size 6.5 in a men’s Boulet Boot.

The men’s standard E width will be wider than a women’s standard C width.

If I already own a pair of Boulet Boots and I would like to buy a new pair, should I take the same size and width?

Yes, you should stay within the same size and width as the pair of Boulet Boots that you already own.
The only time that you may need to take a half size smaller or bigger is if you are planning on choosing a pair with a very different toe than the pair that you already have. For example, if you already own a pair with a cowboy toe and you are looking to buy a pair with a wide square toe, then you should consider taking a ½ size smaller.
